About the role

  • Reconcile tax accounts (federal, state and municipal), ensuring that accounting balances match the amounts calculated.
  • Perform tax calculations for levies such as PIS/COFINS and IRPJ/CSLL.
  • Identify inconsistencies in tax and accounting accounts, review them and propose adjustments and corrections.
  • Maintain up-to-date internal controls related to tax calculation and reconciliation.
  • Support internal and external audits and tax inspections, providing the necessary information and documentation.
  • Interact with accounting, tax and controllership teams to align information.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in tax reconciliation processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Previous experience in the tax area.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Preferred:
  • Knowledge of Power Query and Power BI.
  • Behavioral profile:

  • Good communication and ability to work in a team.
