About the role
- Conduct functional analysis
- Advise and support clients on the feasibility and functional relevance of requests
- Analyze the existing system and identify gaps between requirements and the software solution
- Write detailed functional specifications and obtain client sign-off
- Provide functional support to developers
- Define and manage functional and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Plan project phases, track deliverables, and raise alerts in case of risks or deviations
- Design screen mock-ups and functional prototypes
- Write and execute acceptance and regression tests
- Contribute to writing functional test plans in collaboration with the QA team
Requirements
- Minimum of a four-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 5 years' experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
- Strong skills in writing functional specifications, functional testing and user acceptance testing; comfortable with project management and Agile tracking tools
- Experience in the insurance sector (products, policy administration, claims, endorsements, accounting, etc.) is a plus
