About the role
- Develop and implement predictive and preventative maintenance strategies for mobile and fixed plant assets
- Stop work for safety concerns and abide by safety best practices
- Develop, track, and forecast tools using data from external oil analysis
- Transition to managing an on-site oil analysis lab
- Develop detailed PM routes in fixed processes
- Use tools to predict failure modes on fixed equipment
- Monitor electrical assets through heat monitoring
- Manage annual inspections and registries
- Develop a corrosion monitoring plan
- Investigate wear components and recommend improvements
- Assist with structural analysis and designs
Requirements
- Ability to work safe and promote safe behavior in others
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Engineering experience of 1-3 years in an industrial environment preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication, customer service and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and adapt to changing operational needs
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work a 14 day on 14 day off, camp-based rotation
- Preference given to Alaska residents
