About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate and handle tickets related to SAP access and satellite environments.
Apply knowledge of business processes to contribute effectively to risk analyses and approvals prior to access releases.
Provide support to business users on requests related to access, roles, authorizations and process redesigns.
Actively participate in projects, supporting definition and secure, control-compliant release of access.
Analyze and manage SAP authorization structures, including transactions, authorization objects, fields, catalogs and FIORI groups.
Be responsible for the approval portal, including evaluation of organizational structures and administration of policies and approval hierarchies and authorities.
Manage, review and keep up to date the area’s policies, standards and procedures.
Execute periodic controls according to the defined frequency and internal alignment.
Perform access reviews and support daily governance of the environment.
Actively participate in internal and external audits, providing evidence, analyses and technical support.
Administer, maintain and develop the SoD (Segregation of Duties) Matrix in SAP.
Work on the administration and support of SAP GRC Access Control and SAP GRC Process Control.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in access governance, controls and compliance processes.
Support the mitigation of risks related to critical accesses, segregation conflicts and control exceptions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Access and authorization management in SAP environments (transaction structures, authorization objects, fields, catalogs and FIORI groups).
Access risk analysis and segregation of duties (SoD).
Business process knowledge for impact and risk assessment prior to approvals/releases.
Execution of controls and support for audits (internal and external).
Experience with SAP GRC Access Control and SAP GRC Process Control, including submodules.
Functional and technical understanding of the SoD Matrix.
Familiarity with approval portals, organizational structures and approval authorities/thresholds.
Ability to create, update and manage area policies and procedures.
Good practices in compliance and governance.
