Engineer

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services systems, including LV distribution, small power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, security systems, ICT, access control, and life-safety systems
• Prepare and review calculations, schematics, layouts, specifications, and technical reports
• Deliver electrical design packages across RIBA Stages 1–6
• Coordinate with mechanical, architectural, structural, and sustainability teams throughout project delivery
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Present technical solutions, design proposals, and project updates to clients
• Integrate energy-efficient lighting, smart controls, EV charging infrastructure, renewable technologies, and low-carbon electrical solutions into project designs
• Support sustainability initiatives including Part L compliance, BREEAM assessments, NABERS requirements, and energy strategy development
• Promote whole-life carbon thinking and electrical system optimization
• Review contractor drawings, technical submissions, and provide construction-stage support
• Contribute to technical leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance within the engineering team
