About the role

  • Lead launch planning and commercialization of the ECO Synthesis™ platform and RNA Manufacturing services and support post-launch activities to ensure market adoption
  • Support the development, integration and translation of customer insights to identify product differentiation opportunities
  • Partner with R&D, Operations, Process Development, Business Development, and Marketing to develop product launch readiness and commercialization plans
  • Provide commercial leadership and serve as internal customer advocate during product development to evaluate feature requests and product enhancements
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development on value proposition, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and sales collateral
  • Provide sales training to Business Development on product & services positioning, competitive landscape and value propositions
  • Lead market research to uncover and prioritize market insights, challenges, barriers and solutions to adoption and develop business cases
  • Communicate with all functional support groups and leadership to ensure stakeholder alignment
  • Report to the Director, Strategic Product Planning; role is based in Redwood City, CA

Requirements

  • BS in life sciences, chemistry, molecular biology or allied field with 3-5 years of direct experience in product management or product marketing the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Demonstrated track record of experience in pharma/biotech markets, products, and operations, including product launch experience
  • Experience conducting market research, drafting product requirements and specifications based on user needs, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver results
  • Experience working with marketing communications to develop content and strategies for outbound communication and sales collateral, and implementing company-wide go-to-market plans for new services/products
  • PhD or MBA (preferred)
  • Experience in CDMO or working in a GMP environment (preferred)
  • Adaptable, highly accountable and able to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Critical thinker, with an emphasis on problem solving
  • Ability to provide indirect leadership in cross-functional settings
