About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build the sourcing function from the ground up. Establish the strategy, processes, tooling, and metrics that will define how CodeRabbit sources talent at scale.
  • Lead executive sourcing. Personally own pipeline generation for VP and senior leadership searches across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, and Field Engineering.
  • Partner with GTM recruiters. Act as a force multiplier for the recruiting team by building pipelines, mapping markets, and pre-qualifying candidates for high-volume GTM roles.
  • Drive market intelligence. Develop deep expertise in the talent landscape for the functions you support, including target companies, comp benchmarks, and competitive dynamics.
  • Build diverse, high-quality pipelines. Use creative, multi-channel sourcing approaches to surface candidates who reflect the bar and the diversity we want at CodeRabbit.
  • Operationalize the function. Stand up sourcing playbooks, outreach sequences, reporting dashboards, and the tooling stack (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, ATS, etc.) needed to support scale.
  • Be a trusted advisor. Partner with executives and hiring managers on intake, calibration, and search strategy for the most critical roles in the company.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in a focused sourcing role at high-growth technology companies, with a clear track record of filling difficult roles in competitive markets.
  • 3+ years in a lead or senior sourcing role, including ownership of strategy, process, and stakeholder management for a function or business unit.
  • Demonstrated experience leading executive-level sourcing for VP and C-1 roles, with confidence operating at the executive table.
  • Strong background sourcing GTM talent across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and adjacent functions; bonus for experience with Legal and Field Engineering.
  • Experience building or significantly scaling a sourcing function, including playbooks, tooling, metrics, and team enablement.
  • Mastery of modern sourcing tools and techniques: LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem or equivalent CRM, Boolean and X-ray search, and creative channels beyond LinkedIn.
  • Excellent written communication and outreach craft; you can write a cold message that a VP actually wants to reply to.
  • A data-informed approach to pipeline health, conversion, and time-to-fill, balanced with strong instincts for candidate quality.
