Salary

💰 $65,000 - $80,000 per year

About the role

  • Plan and conduct user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and competitive analysis, to uncover user needs, pain points, and opportunities that inform design direction.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, and user flows that clearly communicate design intent and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align on goals, negotiate trade-offs, and ensure design solutions balance user needs with business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Lead or contribute to design reviews, workshops, and cross-functional working sessions, helping diverse teams build shared understanding and move toward decisions together.
  • Adjust your design approach and level of fidelity based on the stage of the project, the needs of the team, and the pace of delivery.
  • Apply and contribute to our design system, maintaining visual and interaction consistency across products while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage AI tools thoughtfully and at appropriate stages of the design process.

Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years of professional experience in UX design, with a track record of shipping user-centered digital products or features.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating your design process end-to-end, from research and problem framing through ideation, testing, and iteration, not just polished final screens.
  • Solid grounding in user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, with the communication and interpersonal skills to navigate differing viewpoints and build consensus.
  • Comfort presenting and articulating design decisions to varied audiences, and the maturity to incorporate feedback constructively, even when it means changing direction.
  • A flexible, pragmatic mindset. You understand that great UX work requires adapting your process to the situation rather than following a rigid playbook.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., CoPilot, Claude, Gemini, Figma AI features, or similar) as part of your UX workflow, with the judgment to know when they enhance your work and when to rely on traditional methods.
Benefits
  • Access and communication with Senior Management
  • Professional development and training opportunities
  • 401(k) with 100% vesting after 3 months
  • HSA, FSA, and DCA accounts
  • Hybrid work schedule with remote work opportunities
  • Open PTO policy
