Work as an active participant on one of our engineering teams to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of various software products and systems for customers and internal stakeholders
Assisting software engineers with requirements gathering, designing, developing, installing, testing, and de-bugging of CodeMettle software
Creating automation and scripts needed to communicate with various equipment types in broadcast, network and satellite industries
Assisting software engineers with design and execution stress tests on a web architecture
Assisting engineers with evaluation of new web-based technologies, including AI and machine learning
Interfacing with customers to gather requirements and implement automation
Assists software engineers with predefined development tasks
Developing an understanding of software systems

Requirements

U.S. citizenship is REQUIRED to access CodeMettle company systems
Candidates must be currently enrolled in school
Commitment to up to 3 semesters of full-time work
General computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, OO design (Required)
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#)
Familiarity with React, Typescript, Node is a plus
Familiarity with browser APIs and a foundational understanding of the HTTP protocol is a plus
Familiarity with TCP/IP networking is a plus
Able to function well in a collaborative, team environment or independently
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
Able to manage time effectively and prioritize to meet deadlines
