About the role
- Lead and execute marketing campaigns that promote CodeHS programs, curriculum, and partnerships
- Develop and manage marketing content across channels: email, blog, product updates, landing pages, and newsletters
- Write and manage compelling email campaigns for customer acquisition and engagement
- Manage and grow our social media presence to share stories, resources, and updates with our community
- Support and promote CodeHS at education conferences (virtual and in-person)
- Create case studies and customer success stories that highlight impact
- Refine brand voice and messaging to maintain consistency across all touchpoints
- Collaborate on design and marketing collateral to support product launches and outreach campaigns
- Drive teacher engagement strategies both on and off the platform to build loyalty and community
- Research and test new channels for reaching potential educators and school decision-makers
- Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent, effective messaging and create experiences that resonate with educators and school leaders
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in marketing
- Strong writing and content creation skills, especially in email and blog marketing
- Experience managing social media platforms and brand messaging
- Deep attention to detail and exceptional project management skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and execute quickly
- Experience working with design tools or collaborating with designers (Canva, Figma, or similar)
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; you’ll work with product, sales, and support teams regularly
- Passion for education and belief in the importance of computer science for all students
- Bonus: Experience in the edtech industry or working with educators/schools
