About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with the preparation of daily, monthly, and annual financial reporting activities.
- Prepare reconciliations for bank accounts, petty cash, foreign currency, staff advances, and employee reimbursements.
- Support month-end processing, including journals, accruals, and financial reconciliations.
- Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Support the preparation of half-year and year-end statutory financial reports.
- Liaise with external auditors and assist with audit requests and queries.
- Provide financial and administrative support to Corporate Services and business units as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or Finance.
- A sound understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach, willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Exposure to SAP or a similar ERP system will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
