About the role
- Managing and maintaining enterprise firewall environments
- Ensuring reliability and performance across core network infrastructure
- Applying and validating network security controls
- Executing planned network changes, upgrades, and configuration updates accurately and on schedule
- Configuring, installing, and maintaining networking hardware, software, and communications equipment
- Providing remote and onsite systems, server, and desktop support
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external service providers
Requirements
- Advanced hands-on experience administering enterprise firewall platforms
- Extensive knowledge of firewall appliances and a solid understanding of networking principles (LAN/WAN)
- Hands-on experience with networking, wireless, security appliances, and virtualization tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with a collaborative mindset
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
