About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evolve Coda's developer platform and build world-class developer experiences
Modernize CI/CD pipelines and drive improvements to DORA metrics
Build reusable, versioned Terraform modules, migration playbooks, and golden paths
Design context and harness engineering systems, including model gateways, shared MCP servers, tool surfaces, prompt assets, cost budgets, and guardrails
Build evaluation harnesses to measure AI agent quality, adoption, and outcomes
Implement security-by-design with least-privilege IAM, secrets hygiene, and policy-as-code
Implement actionable observability with structured logging, tracing, and SLOs-as-code
Maintain team-owned tooling and resolve CI/CD production issues
Lead cross-team initiatives through design documents and workshops
Participate in a balanced on-call rotation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven platform engineering scope
Mastery of one language: Go, TypeScript, Python, or Java/Kotlin
Proficiency in a second programming language
Strong grasp of architecture, including SOLID and resilience patterns
Experience with XP practices: TDD/BDD, feature flags, and safe refactoring
Knowledge of data system evolution
Deep experience with LLMs and coding agents, including harness design, tool/MCP integration, agent workflows, and model limitations
Experience designing evaluation frameworks and quality signals for non-deterministic model outputs
Expertise in CI/CD automation, policy-as-code, supply chain integrity, and observability fundamentals
Bachelor's degree in CS/STEM or equivalent practical experience
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Bonus: internal developer platform or organization-wide AI tooling adoption experience
Bonus: AWS, AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes expertise
