Contact customers via outbound/inbound phone calls to secure balance of debt
Pro-actively manage credit limit by communicating potential credit limit issues to customers
Collect on all outstanding receivables on assigned accounts
Regular reporting of AR Aging and Credit and Collection efforts to business owners and upper management
Escalate and recommend an account for watch or hold to upper management when needed
Timely follow-up to ensure collection on all outstanding receivables
Review and recommend write off (adjustments) of accounts

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
2–3 years of experience in commercial collections with solid knowledge of collection processes
Strong written, verbal, active listening, and phone communication skills
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP and Oracle knowledge is a plus
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work under pressure and meet daily productivity and quality standards
Knowledge of metrics and reporting to support performance tracking and decision-making
