About the role
- Contact customers via outbound/inbound phone calls to secure balance of debt
- Pro-actively manage credit limit by communicating potential credit limit issues to customers
- Collect on all outstanding receivables on assigned accounts
- Regular reporting of AR Aging and Credit and Collection efforts to business owners and upper management
- Escalate and recommend an account for watch or hold to upper management when needed
- Timely follow-up to ensure collection on all outstanding receivables
- Review and recommend write off (adjustments) of accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
- 2–3 years of experience in commercial collections with solid knowledge of collection processes
- Strong written, verbal, active listening, and phone communication skills
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP and Oracle knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and meet daily productivity and quality standards
- Knowledge of metrics and reporting to support performance tracking and decision-making
