About the role

  • Responsible for monitoring the entire procurement process through to the delivery of inputs/supplies;
  • Responsible for developing and executing contracts with new suppliers to ensure commitment and timely delivery of goods and services;
  • Support corporate negotiations;
  • Preparation, analysis and implementation of bid results;
  • Analysis of excessive costs within the supply chain;
  • Extraction and monitoring of management reports;
  • Management and drafting of supplier contracts;
  • Receive, analyze and process monthly price updates;
  • Receive, analyze and process foreign exchange provisioning and settlement;
  • Control and manage purchase orders in the system and payment terms;
  • Process requisitions;
  • Act as an interface between departments, internal customers, suppliers, plants and operational units;
  • Manage and resolve invoice discrepancies;
  • Propose new solutions to improve departmental activities.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering;
  • Experience: Professional experience in Procurement and Contracts;
  • Technical Knowledge: Microsoft Office, SAP, SAP Ariba, Power BI;
  • Interpersonal Competencies: (strong interpersonal skills required);
  • Knowledge: Negotiation, Procurement Processes, Value Chain Analysis, Basic Financial Concepts;
  • Skills: Agility, Negotiation, Problem analysis and continuous improvement, End-to-end customer service;
  • Languages: Spanish and English – desirable.
