About the role
- Responsible for the support and administration of Company employee benefit programs
- Supports benefit plan administration including benefits eligibility, amounts and duration
- Provides subject operational and administrative matter expertise to teammate questions or concerns regarding their benefits
- Coordinates with vendors for plan administration
- Assists with the annual open enrollment process for the company
- Administers absence management programs including FMLA, paid leave, short and long-term disability
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience
- Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or similar benefits-related professional certification is desired
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion
- Ability for working in a fast paced, high energy environment of competing priorities with tight deadlines
- Ability to escalate issues as needed
