About the role

  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents
  • Lead or support incident response activities, including containment, remediation, and root cause analysis
  • Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures
  • Oversee and support IAM processes across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Review and improve access provisioning, deprovisioning, and role-based access controls
  • Support MFA, Conditional Access policies, and identity governance initiatives
  • Coordinate vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts
  • Partner with IT and business teams to prioritize and track remediation
  • Assist in risk assessments and security reviews
  • Support internal and external audits (e.g., SOX, NIST, internal controls)
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, and procedures
  • Participate in access reviews and compliance reporting
  • Support and optimize security tools such as Microsoft Defender, SIEM platforms, and identity security solutions
  • Assist with tuning alerts, improving detection capabilities, and reducing false positives
  • Mentor and support junior cybersecurity analysts
  • Assist in developing training materials, runbooks, and operational documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve security posture

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field
  • Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Incident response or security operations knowledge
  • Identity and access management concepts
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Experience with SAP security or enterprise application access management (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Defender / Sentinel or other SIEM/EDR tools (preferred)
  • Vulnerability management platforms knowledge (preferred)
  • NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks familiarity (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, SC-300, CISSP) (preferred)
