About the role
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents
- Lead or support incident response activities, including containment, remediation, and root cause analysis
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures
- Oversee and support IAM processes across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Review and improve access provisioning, deprovisioning, and role-based access controls
- Support MFA, Conditional Access policies, and identity governance initiatives
- Coordinate vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts
- Partner with IT and business teams to prioritize and track remediation
- Assist in risk assessments and security reviews
- Support internal and external audits (e.g., SOX, NIST, internal controls)
- Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, and procedures
- Participate in access reviews and compliance reporting
- Support and optimize security tools such as Microsoft Defender, SIEM platforms, and identity security solutions
- Assist with tuning alerts, improving detection capabilities, and reducing false positives
- Mentor and support junior cybersecurity analysts
- Assist in developing training materials, runbooks, and operational documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve security posture
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Incident response or security operations knowledge
- Identity and access management concepts
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Experience with SAP security or enterprise application access management (preferred)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender / Sentinel or other SIEM/EDR tools (preferred)
- Vulnerability management platforms knowledge (preferred)
- NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks familiarity (preferred)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, SC-300, CISSP) (preferred)
