About the role
- Ensures all equipment is sanitized according to company quality assurance standards
- Performs external and internal or Clean in Place (CIP) sanitation on production lines
- Ensures proper aseptic techniques for microbial sample collections
- Maintains water treatment equipment
- Maintains cleanliness of chemical storage and water treatment areas
- Records all internal and external sanitation in the Lab Data Management System (LDMS)
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience
- Ability to follow work instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Basic microbial knowledge and aseptic techniques
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel experience
- Experience in manufacturing sanitation preferred
