About the role
- Direct and provide strategic controls implementation guidance to multiple CCCI Production and Automated Warehouse Locations
- Develop high-level control strategies for all automated equipment in Warehouse and Manufacturing Facilities
- Assist with the design and development of control systems for new equipment and systems
- Establish Controls philosophy and logic for all equipment systems within the company
- Troubleshoot, test, repair control systems and provide logic guidance and training to plant Maintenance Managers
- Develop, implement, and support data-driven initiatives to collect, analyze, and leverage automated system performance metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
- Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience
- Electrical Engineering or Controls preferred
- 5 years of experience as a controls engineer working with automated warehousing
- Continuous flow conveyor style systems are a plus
- AB or Rockwell Automation documented training courses or certifications are a plus
- Experience with IT/OT data exchange in automated system environments
