About the role
- Engage on-site with local leaders in warehouses and production centers to execute and drive warehouse process transformation and ongoing process improvements
- Assist in examining, analyzing, and understanding current business practices and processes to identify, design, and implement improvements
- Serve as project manager and lead for new initiatives
- Teach, coach, train, and develop all levels of the warehouse team
- Liaison and subject matter expert with other departments to represent warehousing in strategic initiatives
- Execute and drive transformation initiatives and ongoing improvements in warehouse and customer processes
- Serve as interim Warehouse Manager, leading operations in times of need
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering preferred), however, equivalent or relevant experience is also acceptable
- Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of work experience
- Preferred: Food Safety Certification, ISO or similar Audit Certification, Autocad, SAP, Certified Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or related Supply Chain field experience
- Experience in Arena modeling and AutoCAD preferred
