Assist the GM in ensuring an industry leading customer service experience by leading and coaching the sales team
Ensure product availability and monitor and exceed food safety requirements
Manage a small business and a high performing team, including team schedules
Foster and encourage a positive environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect and high performers
Work with and support passionate and committed people; provide training as needed
Help with local community events and donation of bread as part of the ‘End of Day Giving’ program
Requirements
1+ years’ supervisory experience in a similar role, ideally in the food service, hospitality or franchise industry
Basic knowledge of financial management skills, including cash management and banking is an asset
Exceptional interpersonal skills in building camaraderie amongst the team
Outstanding customer service skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite such as Outlook, Excel and Word
A quick study, with a willingness to learn all operations within the bakery
A capable people manager and leader with proven experience in recruitment and selection, retention, staff development and disciplinary and termination procedures
A great communicator, problem solver and critical thinker
