About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • To provide day to day hands-on supervision on shift basis of the engineering department technical staff.
  • Ensure highly effective and safe machinery maintenance in the organization.
  • Electricial Domestic and industrial wiring, Control circuits.
  • Understand electrical lay-out plans, basic motor controls circuits diagrams, fault findings DOL (Forward-Revers).
  • Carry out Inspection, testing, fault finding and repair in single phase and three phase industrial installations.
  • Design, Estimate and handle a small scale electrical project related to the factory installations, individually.
  • Programming and installation of VFDs in the factory.
  • Welding with various techniques safely.
  • Ability to prepare material for welding operations and cutting.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successful completion of full time NAB / CGTTI / ATI / NCT Examination or GCE O/L examination.
  • 1 year full time course in recognized institute.
  • 2 years industrial experience.
  • 3 years experience in production environment.
