About the role
- Leading and promoting our Safety First culture across every design, decision and interaction
- Responding to customer and internal enquiries by developing practical, cost-effective engineered solutions using our shoring, propping and structural systems
- Collaborating with field teams and clients to gather the right information and ensure your designs are accurate, safe and fit-for-purpose
- Providing technical data, drawings and documentation to help customers make informed decisions
- Identifying opportunities to improve product performance and engineering service quality
- Keeping up to date with the latest engineering methods, standards, technologies and software
- Coaching and supporting internal teams and customers to build understanding of our products
- Attending site meetings and providing on-site support to ensure safe and effective use of our structural solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (minimum)
- Around 1–2 years’ experience in an engineering office or similar environment
- Knowledge in design and drafting tools (Spacegass & AutoCAD)
- Solid understanding of structural, civil or geotechnical construction methods
- Strong solution design capability and customer-focused problem-solving approach
- Advanced knowledge of Australian Standards and other relevant codes
- Understanding of Safety in Design principles, regulatory requirements and best practice
