About the role

  • You’ll be a key technical resource for our customers as well as our sales and operations teams.
  • You’ll be customer-facing on a daily basis, identifying opportunities to quote and then securing shoring projects across SEQ.
  • You will also play a major role in promoting and driving utilisation of Coates’ new lightweight, high-strength shoring system launching in January 2026.
  • Working with local and regional sales plus operations teams to drive product awareness and technical product expertise to existing and new customers.
  • Assessing sites with customers and identifying opportunities whereby Coates can offer solutions to advance their projects.
  • Developing key relationships across a broad range of internal stakeholders and with civil and construction customers.
  • Leading our uncompromising Safety-First culture throughout the organisation and customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical solution selling (preferred) with problem solving capabilities.
  • A thirst for success and the drive to develop a network throughout construction and civil industries.
  • Customer facing experience with a healthy resilience.
  • A willingness to learn and develop in the role with a desire to forge a career at Coates.
