About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as technical owner of the Coates operating system and HW platform stack
Establish and enforce HW platform standards, configuration baselines, and governance frameworks
Maintain authoritative documentation of the HW platform architecture
Define and maintain a tiered model of physical player technology
Validate and formally approve new physical platform technologies
Drive the evolution of Coates deployment and upgrade models
Ensure reliability and uptime of the Coates technology estate
Partner with the CTO and commercial leadership to define technology tiers

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years’ experience in platform engineering, systems architecture, or technology infrastructure
Demonstrated ownership of a proprietary or embedded technology platform
Proven experience managing field-deployed hardware estates across distributed locations
Track record of translating platform architecture decisions into commercial outcomes
Experience building and leading technical teams
