About the role
- Directly works on the inventory function, partnering with logistics manager to drive operational efficiency
- Provides guidance and assistance to warehousing and inventory functions of the NAM supply chain
- Ensures optimization of inventory function, adopting current industry trends & best practices
- Measures & reports on inventory performance with a focus on systems integration improvements
- Provides guidance on streamlining inventory management systems and practices to mitigate risk
- Maintains and monitors key data pertaining to inventory outcomes
- Investigate and implement opportunities to improve the inventory operation
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in warehouse management and inventory control
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Experience in stock-take (advantageous)
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience in using a MRP system (advantageous)
