About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage civil litigation defense matters from intake through trial or resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents
Conduct and defend depositions
Handle court appearances, hearings, and mediations
Develop case strategy and prepare cases for trial
Communicate regularly with clients and provide case updates
Work collaboratively with partners and support staff to drive case outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–5 years of civil litigation experience (defense experience preferred)
Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada
Admission to the State Bar of California is a strong plus
Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice
Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to independently manage cases and deadlines
Trial preparation experience preferred; courtroom experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and client service mindset
