About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Excel at collecting, inputting, balancing, and verifying payroll information
  • Verify wages, deductions, attendance, hours worked, complete pay adjustments, and post information into designated records
  • Process and post employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions
  • Compile employee time and payroll data from timesheets and other records
  • Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations to maintain and update payroll records
  • Implement, monitor, and report on payroll processes in addition to completing monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll accounting functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successful completion of a high school diploma
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation, with a minimum completion of Level 1 preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience working with complex payrolls, including union, commission, payroll balancing, and year-end processes
  • Knowledge of Ultipro Software including payroll processing and time capture
