About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Excel at collecting, inputting, balancing, and verifying payroll information
- Verify wages, deductions, attendance, hours worked, complete pay adjustments, and post information into designated records
- Process and post employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions
- Compile employee time and payroll data from timesheets and other records
- Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations to maintain and update payroll records
- Implement, monitor, and report on payroll processes in addition to completing monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll accounting functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successful completion of a high school diploma
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation, with a minimum completion of Level 1 preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience working with complex payrolls, including union, commission, payroll balancing, and year-end processes
- Knowledge of Ultipro Software including payroll processing and time capture
