About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Welcome customers and assist with product selection
- React to customer concerns quickly
- Sell merchandise and provide outstanding customer service
- Take periodic stock counts and participate in taking inventories
- Replenish stock and maintain merchandise presentation
- Process payments accurately and maintain records of sales
- Perform price changes and set company promotions
- Follow policies regarding Loss Prevention and safety standards
- Work weekends and perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Potential to stock merchandise, assist patrons and operate a cash register
- Ability to read, comprehend and explain product literature
- Ability to count, subtract, multiply and divide for stocking and inventory purposes
- Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience (preferred)
