About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Welcome customers and maintain product knowledge
- React to all customer concerns quickly
- Sell merchandise and provide outstanding customer service
- Take periodic stock counts and participate in inventories
- Replenish stock and maintain merchandise presentation
- Collect payments and accurately operate cash register
- Maintain sales records and balance till at shift end
- Perform price changes and set company promotions
- Fulfill duties with regard to Loss Prevention
- Follow safety standards and requirements
- Work weekends and perform other related duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Potential to stock merchandise, assist patrons and operate a cash register
- Ability to read, comprehend and explain product literature
- Ability to count, subtract, multiply, and divide for stocking and inventory purposes
- Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience (Preferred)
