Key responsibilities & impact

Performs various simple manual tasks
Sets up glasses, silverware, butter, condiments, salads, desserts, bread, and cold beverages on serving counter as instructed
Cleans tables of paper, other trash, or soiled linens
Scrapes and pre-rinses dishes with water
Loads dishes in dishwasher; stacks and stores dishes
Cleans cooking and service equipment
Sweeps, mops, waxes floors
Follows safety regulations and standards
Reports any observed workplace hazards

Requirements

What you’ll need

No previous work experience required
Must have the ability to read and understand written material and follow instructions
Must be able to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines
Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training
Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds
Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time
Six months experience in a food service facility (preferred)
