Key responsibilities & impact

Welcome customers and help with selection of merchandise
React quickly to customer concerns
Sell merchandise and provide outstanding customer service
Take periodic stock counts and participate in inventories
Replenish stock and maintain merchandise condition
Advise supervisor of customer requests
Receive payments and give change accurately
Maintain record of sales and balance cash register
Perform price changes for departments
Follow policies regarding Loss Prevention
Work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Potential to stock merchandise, assist patrons and operate a cash register
Ability to read, comprehend and explain product literature
Ability to count, subtract, multiply, and divide for stocking and inventory purposes
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience (preferred)
