Key responsibilities & impact
  • Welcome customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist with product selection and ensure a smooth shopping experience
  • React to customer concerns quickly
  • Sell merchandise and provide outstanding service
  • Take periodic stock counts and participate in inventories
  • Replenish stock and maintain merchandise in a neat condition
  • Advise supervisor of customer requests
  • Operate cash register and maintain sales records
  • Perform price changes and manage promotions
  • Follow loss prevention policies and safety standards
  • Work weekends and perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Potential to stock merchandise, assist patrons and operate a cash register
  • Ability to read, comprehend and explain product literature
  • Ability to count, subtract, multiply, and divide for stocking and inventory purposes
  • Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience (preferred)
