Key responsibilities & impact

Welcome customers and assist with product selection
React to all concerns of customers quickly
Sell merchandise and provide outstanding customer service
Take periodic stock counts and may participate in taking inventories
Replenish stock and maintain merchandise in a neat and presentable condition
Advise supervisor/department head of customer requests
Receive payments and maintain records of sales
Perform price changes and display company promotions
Follow Loss Prevention policies
Work weekends as required
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Potential to stock merchandise, assist patrons and operate a cash register
Ability to read, comprehend and explain product literature
Ability to count, subtract, multiply, and divide for stocking and inventory purposes
Must be able to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience (preferred)
