About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Welcome customers and maintain product knowledge
Assist with product selection and ensure a smooth shopping experience
Sell merchandise and provide outstanding customer service
Take periodic stock counts and participate in inventories
Replenish stock and maintain merchandise presentation
Operate cash register and handle various payment methods
Maintain record of sales and balance till at end of shift
Perform price changes and set company promotions
Follow Loss Prevention policies and safety standards
Work weekends and perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Potential to stock merchandise, assist patrons and operate a cash register
Ability to read, comprehend and explain product literature
Ability to count, subtract, multiply, and divide for stocking and inventory purposes
Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience (preferred)
