About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide operational, customer service, and administrative support to the Government Reporting team.
  • Process daily department work, including account transactions, journal entries, payment-related requests, and other operational activities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, delivering timely support via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Partner with financial professionals, clients, banks, credit unions, clearing firms, vendors, and other business partners to resolve issues and facilitate processing.
  • Perform account reconciliations, calculations, and reporting-related activities, including daily filing notifications and compliance-driven processes.
  • Research customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and provide resolution recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and business units across Cetera to support service, reporting, and operational initiatives.
  • Exercise sound judgment when making customer-focused decisions while adhering to firm policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize Written Supervisory Procedures (WSPs), departmental guidelines, and operational manuals to ensure accurate and compliant processing.
  • Manage a high volume of detail-oriented, process-driven tasks while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and service standards.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute creative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and the customer experience.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment while receiving guidance from department leadership as needed
