About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a primary point of contact for advisors, leading integrations from deal signing through full onboarding with a strong concentration on transitioning accounts to Cetera and successors.
  • Guide advisors through complex transitions with clarity, empathy, and strong communication.
  • Drive progress while ensuring advisors feel supported and engaged—not overwhelmed.
  • Develop and execute tailored account transition plans, identifying risks early and ensuring long-term success.
  • Maintain accurate plans and provide transparent updates to leadership.
  • Track key metrics and share insights to improve processes and outcomes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to stay calm, steady, and solution-focused in high-pressure or emotional situations.
  • Strong relationship management skills—you connect well with people and build trust quickly.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects at once with competing priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset—you work well across teams and influence without authority.
  • Comfort working within structured processes while also suggesting improvements.
  • Strong written and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years in financial services, especially in RIA, wealth management, or M&A integration.
  • Familiarity with brokerage/advisory operations (e.g., ACATs, repapering, platform transitions).
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity or evolving processes.
  • Knowledge of custodians like Schwab, Fidelity, or Pershing.
  • Project management or process improvement certifications (PMP, Six Sigma).
