About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engages with underwriting to drive corporate strategies for a BU
- Optimizes distribution engagement, strengthening relationships with agents and brokers
- Operates as the key Risk Control account executive
- Develops global account strategies to positively impact loss ratios
- Supports the BU with technical expertise
- Works with BU leadership to review and direct the evaluation of large and complex risks
- Presents capability and stewardship presentations as needed
- Develops and maintains business relationships with internal and external partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, with Masters preferred, or equivalent experience
- Typically a minimum of ten years of risk control experience
- Applicable professional designations preferred, including CSP, ARM or other applicable designation
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Senior level technical and business management acumen and knowledge of insurance, risk management principles, practices and procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
- Ability and willingness to travel 20-40%.
