About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manages an inventory of low to moderate complexity and exposure commercial claims.
  • Investigates, evaluates, and resolves claims in accordance with company protocols.
  • Verifies coverage and establishes timely and adequate reserves.
  • Conducts investigations to gather pertinent information.
  • Negotiates settlements and escalates to manager as appropriate.
  • Maintains compliance with state/local regulatory requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school Diploma required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable.
  • Prior claim handling, or business experience in the insurance industry and/or customer service is preferred.
