Director, Program Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the strategic management and performance of assigned programs
- Accountable for program profitability, growth, and overall business performance
- Partner closely with Program Administrators to define and execute strategies
- Serve as a key liaison across underwriting, product, actuarial, and claims
- Own the financial performance of assigned programs
- Develop and execute new and renewal business strategies
- Establish and maintain underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Manage End-to-End Program Performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Typically a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the underwriting or market facing area
- Proven track record of results
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, specifically the P&C Programs sector
- Ability to manage program performance using financial and operational metrics to drive profitable growth
- Technical and product specific expertise, underwriting skill and knowledge of insurance and underwriting principles, practices, and procedures
- Strong understanding of compliance, audit processes, and risk controls within underwriting programs
- Experience collaborating across internal business units to deliver business results
