Account Manager
CNA InsuranceAccount Manager Analyst managing a book of business for small-to-mid-size employer groups. Combining client relationship management with benefits analysis in a hybrid role.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports and manages a book of business consisting primarily of small-to-mid-size employer groups.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and their employees.
- Performs analytical and operational functions necessary to deliver accurate, timely, and cost-effective benefit solutions.
- Leads the annual renewal process for assigned clients.
- Collaborates with carriers and benefit providers to obtain accurate and competitive quotes for benefits.
- Prepares comprehensive executive summaries for clients.
- Plans and coordinates open enrollment meetings for clients and their employees.
- Provides ongoing, year-round support to clients and their employees for benefits-related inquiries and service needs.
- Develops and executes strategies to retain existing clients and identify opportunities for account expansion.
- Generates and delivers reports that detail benefit plan performance, utilization trends, and cost insights.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in account management, benefits administration, or client services, preferably in the insurance or employee benefits industry.
- Working knowledge of group health insurance and ancillary benefit products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with client management or benefits administration platforms (Gen4 or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
