Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and recommend actuarial pricing and rating plans of a complex nature
Collaborate with business partners at all levels and Actuarial senior leaders
Provide actuarial analyses and insights to support across technical and non-technical audiences and influence pricing decisions and strategies
Establish relationships with business partners and functional subject matter experts
Build strong relationships to influence a specific segment's strategy through actionable insights and analytics
Monitor profitability/reserving and claim trends and share results with recommendations
Provide guidance to less experienced team members and manage projects as needed
Stay up to date in actuarial expertise and industry trends

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
Typically a minimum of seven years of related work experience
ACAS designation and working towards FCAS
Strong knowledge of core functions of an insurance company and actuarial and statistical concepts
Advanced actuarial technical expertise and product specific knowledge
Experience building successful business partnerships
Solid project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and lead teams.
