Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with business stakeholders across underwriting, claims, actuarial, and other functions to understand business problems and translate business objectives into technical outcomes
Leads the Agile team to define, prioritize, and sequence work from design through development and implementation
Supports one to three Agile Scrum teams on initiatives of medium to large complexity
Owns, defines, and prioritizes the team backlog, establishes story acceptance criteria, drives content via prioritized user stories
Builds customer and user insights into all stages of the Scrum planning and execution process

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Typically a minimum of five years as a Product Owner or equivalent role
Strong knowledge and experience with commercial insurance products
Extensive expertise in data science, AI-driven technologies, and platform-based solutions
Successful track record with Agile methodologies
Applicable certifications preferred (e.g. SAFe PO/PM, CSPO or PSPO)
