Payroll Account Executive
CNA InsurancePayroll Account Executive at CIP Payroll leading client relationships and overseeing payroll operations. Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality in payroll processing for a growing portfolio of clients.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the main contact for assigned payroll clients.
- Lead client meetings and ongoing service communication.
- Build strong, trusted relationships and deliver a high-touch experience.
- Review payroll summaries, reports, and documentation prior to submission.
- Ensure payroll is accurate, compliant, and processed on time.
- Act as final checkpoint before payroll is approved.
- Oversee payroll processors supporting your client group.
- Delegate and manage workflows to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Provide guidance and support to administrative team members.
- Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and client issues.
- Act as escalation point for complex matters.
- Lead new client onboarding through first successful payroll.
- Coordinate data collection, setup, and process alignment.
- Ensure smooth transitions for both onboarding and offboarding.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of payroll experience.
- Experience with systems such as PRISM HCM, Paylocity, ADP, Rippling or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance and tax fundamentals.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships.
- Experience leading or mentoring team members preferred.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Clear, professional communicator.
