About the role
- Assists with the governance and oversight of the Global Property portfolio
- Contributes to establishing underwriting standards, guidelines, manuscript endorsements, forms and filings
- Works with leaders across the enterprise as part of the referral pathway
- Evaluates underwriting performance based on financial analysis
- Ensures the achievement of continued profitability, growth and/or operational efficiencies
Requirements
- 10+ years of underwriting experience in mid to large account property underwriting
- Strong coverage knowledge in property lines
- Skill in assessing exposures to loss, loss analysis, and pricing
- Bachelor’s degree with Master’s preferred in a related discipline, or equivalent
- Typically a minimum of 10 years of related work experience, with five years management experience.
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation
