About the role
- Assists with the governance and oversight of the Global Property portfolio
- Work closely with leaders across the enterprise as part of the referral pathway
- Establish underwriting standards, guidelines, manuscript endorsements, forms and filings, pricing strategy, reinsurance usage
- Analyze trends to promote profitable growth
- Overall management, analysis and monitoring of a global portfolio, specializing in Middle Market
Requirements
- 10+ years of underwriting experience in property/package underwriting
- Strong coverage knowledge in these lines
- Skill in assessing exposures to loss, loss analysis and pricing
- Bachelor's degree with Master's preferred in a related discipline
- Typically a minimum of 10 years of related work experience, with five years management experience
- Industry certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) preferred
