About the role

  • Works with Property leadership to conduct, review and/or direct the evaluation and assessment of large and complex risks.
  • Applies Risk Control policies, guidelines, insurance laws and regulations.
  • Produces desktop risk control evaluations that are comprehensive and able to inform underwriting decisions.
  • Develops global account strategies to positively impact loss ratios, new business goals and retention requirements.
  • Develops and maintains business relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Engages with underwriting to drive corporate strategies for a BU.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science discipline preferred; Masters and/or professional engineering license a plus.
  • Professional designation(s) including P.E, CFPS, FE/EIT, ARM preferred.
  • A minimum of ten years of risk control experience.
