About the role
- Underwriting risk for submission through policy issuance
- Performing underwriting analysis and documentation
- Handling endorsement requests and triaging renewal applications
- Working as a liaison within the branch to resolve issues
- Documenting assigned files ensuring completeness and compliance
- Executing on advanced pricing strategy
- Completing quote proposals and negotiating with external partners
- Assisting in marketing products and services
Requirements
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty underwriting including insurance products
- Strong time management and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple tasks
- Strong capability to advise and coach others
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Typically a minimum of three years of related work experience
