About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evolutionary and corrective maintenance of internal legacy systems
Triage, investigation and resolution of support tickets
Small improvements to existing modules (commercial, financial, academic, administrative)
Queries and adjustments in SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, views)
Participation in code reviews, agile ceremonies and refinements
Documentation of processes, routines and runbooks
Continuous learning of the .NET Framework stack
Manual testing and validation of fixes with QA

Requirements

What you’ll need

Programming logic and OOP fundamentals
C# or another statically typed language (Java, TypeScript)
Knowledge of Razor (MVC)
Vue.js or Angular
Basic knowledge of REST APIs
Basic SQL (queries, joins, basic modeling)
HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript
Git
.NET Framework or ASP.NET MVC (academic or personal projects)
SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures)
Understanding of MVC architecture
Ability to read code in legacy codebases
AWS (RDS, EC2) or Azure
Interest in software maintenance
Genuine desire to learn and investigate
Patience and resilience to work with legacy code
Attention to detail (production fixes)
Organizational skills to manage multiple tickets
Proactivity to look for answers before asking
Good written communication (documenting root cause)
Collaboration and teamwork
Ethical conduct (access to sensitive data)
