About the role
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating civil and corporate contracts, including service agreements, supply contracts, leases, built-to-suit agreements, guarantees and related instruments;
- Structuring legal aspects of real estate transactions (acquisition, disposition, leasing and development, among others);
- Conducting and/or coordinating real estate due diligence, including analysis of property registry entries, chain of title, encumbrances, and urban planning and environmental compliance;
- Preparing memoranda identifying and classifying risks;
- Liaising with land registry offices and public authorities;
- Active participation in negotiations with clients and counterparties;
- Providing strategic support to partners in defining contractual structures and mitigating risks;
- Technical supervision of junior lawyers and interns;
- Managing deadlines, controlling document flow and tracking transaction timelines.
Requirements
- Active OAB/SP registration (São Paulo Bar Association)
- 3 to 5 years since obtaining law degree
- Previous experience in a law firm, with practice in contracts and real estate.
